Traditional New Year’s Levee Planned at Port Hope Town Hall

Residents and friends of the Municipality of Port Hope are invited and encouraged to attend the traditional New Year’s Levee, taking place in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope, on January 1, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The reception is an age-old tradition that marks the start of the New Year, and provides residents with the opportunity to connect with councillors in an informal setting.

Who: Mayor Sanderson and Members of Council for the Municipality of Port Hope

What: Traditional New Year’s Levee

When: Tuesday, January 1, 2019, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Where: The Council Chambers at Town Hall (56 Queen Street)

Mayor Sanderson and members of Council welcome people of all ages to attend the New Year’s Levee, where refreshments will be served and new ideas and resolutions for the New Year are encouraged.
