Council & Committee of the Whole take place in a combined meeting approach with Committee of the Whole and Regular Council meetings convened on the same Tuesday evening, the first and third Tuesdays of the month commencing at 6:30 p.m. Statutory Public Meetings as required, would be convened on the first and third Wednesdays commencing at 6:30 p.m. These meetings are open to the public. 

Council Meeting - January 7, 2020
*Please note that the Council Meeting begins with a Council Resolution to enter into a Closed Session. After the Resolution is carried, Council proceeds into the Closed Session, which is not made available to the public and therefore not captured on the video. After the Closed Session, the Mayor re-opens the Public Session and the remainder of the meeting is available.

Agendas and Minutes are available through our Council Portal in advance of each meeting.

Budget Committees meetings are held monthly and advertised in both local papers and on our Public Notices. Minutes and Agendas are posted on the website. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the Municipal budget process.

Community Consultation is conducted on major projects and high-profile issues with a three-level approach for public participation. Items for consultation are posted on the website and advertised in the local papers

Public Notices on upcoming events, community consultation, job and bid opportunities, and legislated notices (zoning amendments, by-law updates, etc.) each week in Northumberland News and on our Public Notices page
