Children and Youth Drop-In Programs
We offer many children and youth drop-in programs throughout the year. There is something for everyone! Registration is not required for drop in programs, but fees apply. Check back often to see what we are offering as programs change regularly.
Youth Drop-In Spaces
Looking for more fun? Join us at one of our Youth spaces to build new friendships, develop self confidence or learn something new.
Our Youth Centre is a safe and inviting space for youth to socialize and engage in activities. Try your hand at air hockey, arcade games, ping pong or foosball. You can also lounge on one of our couches while charging your phone. Bring your friends and come join the fun!
- Ages 13 to 19 years
- Tuesday to Friday: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Location: Town Park Recreation Centre

Join us on Mondays for our Pre-Teen Drop-In Youth Centre:
- Ages 10 to 12 years
- Mondays: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Join us every Thursday during the school year at Port Hope High for our Youth Drop-In program. Each week will include free food, fun, and a variety of activities such as games, crafts, cooking and more.
Come in and join us for our first meeting of the Youth Room on September 19, 2024.

Join us for some pick-up hockey!

Stick and Puck is an informal game of hockey and no registration is required. CSA approved hockey helmet with a face shield is mandatory for all participants and full hockey equipment is strongly recommended. |

Child Drop-In Activities: September 16 to November 10, 2024
Looking for something to keep your kids active? Join us for some drop-in activities that require no pre-registration or commitment. Develop social skills, confidence and skill development - fun for kids of every age and stage!
Active Start: Gym Drop-In for Toddlers
Open gym for children to have unstructured play and plenty of space to burn off energy and socialize with other children.

Children will strengthen their gross and fine motor skills with a variety of equipment including toddler cars, balls, tunnels and more.

This time slot is for children 10 to 13 years old and families. Any child under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Homeschool Gym
A great way to incorporate physical education as a part of home school curriculum. Come out to enjoy some active play in the gym.

This is an opportunity for families to practice their hockey skills and enjoy participant led pick up hockey games.
